Footloose

Footloose tells the story of Ren McCormack, a teenage boy from Chicago. After moving to Bomont, a small rural town, Ren finds himself at odds with most of the residents and struggling to fit in. Battling the Reverend who has convinced the town to outlaw dancing. Can Ren, with the help of the Ariel (the Reverend’s daughter) and Willard (a country hick who becomes his best friend), convince the Reverend to let the teenagers dance and in the process help the town to heal from a tragedy that affected them all?



To the rockin’ rhythm of its Oscar and Tony-nominated Top 40 score (Lets Hear It for the Boy, Footloose, Holding Out for a Hero) the show celebrates the wisdom of listening to young people while guiding them with a warm heart and open mind.
